MountainBrook Village residents will be asked to vote this November on a proposed project to convert an existing storage area in the Ocotillo Building into additional space for arts and crafts activities. The proposed project combines remodeling work with the installation of insulation and Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV) for sound control. The Activity Center got a fresh look, increased energy savings, and a brilliant gift! Elias Arreola and his team from American Vision Windows were on site Thursday, May 7. They did a wonderful job installing the windows in the Activity Center—and they generously donated both the windows and installation. A great big thank you to all involved in making this happen, including our staff for graciously putting up with the construction that day.

MountainBrook Village (MBV) residents got a first look at the Clear, Kind, Reliable Communications Plan during the Board of Directors’ April workshop presentation—and the conversation was just getting started. Presentations were made on April 21 at Coffee and News, and a Town Hall meeting took place on April 22.
